Almost 2!!!

It is exactly one month till Michael is two. So many parents say that time just goes by so fast but I feel like he should be two. Time is going by faster with Mia than it ever did with Michael. He is starting to talk more. He says cookie for every snack that he wants. He says bees because there are pictures of them on his diaper. He says bus, mama, daddy, wow wow (dog), bubbles, shoe, bike, and what is that?? That is a big one he is always wanting to know what everything is. We are pleased with his vocabulary because it only just started recently and even though my pediatrician said don't worry I was a little worried. Apparently boys can just be slower which after thinking about it yep boys are slow. And by boys I mean MEN :-).

Our big transition is going to be getting him out of his crib. He LOVES his crib as you can see in one of the pictures he is surrounded by all his stuffed friends wrestling around in his crib. He loves to just hang out in there and play. He jumps he cuddles he LOVES his crib. So our goal is to get him in the big boy bed for a good month at least and then move Mia into the crib. They share a room so we will see how it goes.

Michael loves dancing and playing guitar he is also a great golfer. He really has been a great big brother. He loves on Mia giving her huggies and also pats her butt whenever she is crying. We still don't leave him alone with her in a room I am not that trusting yet. Buuuuuut Mike was cooking dinner the other night and I was asleep upstairs because I was sick and I was awaken by all this crying. I thought I am going back to bed he can deal with it. Well when I woke up I asked what had happened and he said Mia was asleep on the couch and Michael was going about his business playing with his toys when Mike heard a thud. Well I guess Michael wanted Mia to wake up and play because he pulled her right off the couch. Everybody was ok but Mike said he could tell Michael felt bad. This is our first little incident between them with I am sure many more to follow. Michael definitely keeps me laughing throughout the day and I can't wait to see how his personality keeps changing and changing. So here we go leading into the terrible twos. Please terrible twos treat me good.

  1. From what I hear, TWO's are nothing, with boys it's the THREE's we will have to worry about.
