Tucson

Mike had a couple days off in a row so we decided to go to Tucson to see some family and friends. While we were there we took the kids to the fair, Mike got in a round of golf, and we also got to see cousin Anthony play at one of his baseball games. It was so much fun! There is just something about being around family.

We went to the fair on Sunday and there was a big group of us. The first ride that I took Michael on was a car ride that would move up and down. It would have been awesome if that was all they did but they also shook. It scared the crap out of him lol. I felt so bad I was on the ride with him and I will have to admit it probably was not the best ride to take him on for his first time. It was a little intense. After that I would ask him if he would want to go on a ride and he would say "no mama no". I think I scared him for life. Michael does like slides so we took him on a pretty big slide where he would go down in our lap. If you look at the picture Michael is so afraid he doesn't know whether to laugh or cry. I think it really tickled his belly. BUT at the bottom he would jump up and want to do it again. So we went on the slide a couple of times

Michael wasn't the only one that got to ride on the slide at the fair. A bunch of us went on the adult slide and had a race. It was so much fun we all kept saying that it has been forever since we had all been to a fair. I am not much of a fair ride kind of gal but I did decide to go on the ride where they take you to the top of this pole and just drop you right down. It was pretty fun I haven't had an adrenaline rush like that in years. Mike however loves fair rides and went on a couple of twisty spinny crazy rides. We finished it off by letting Michael play a couple of games with throwing balls and he ended up winning a big orange crayon that he picked out. He wold throw the ball and whenever it wouldn't make it in the hole he would yell ALMOST. He was such a good sport and loved all the attention.

All tuckered out

That night my mother in law cooked an amazing meal like always and had a bunch of Mike's friends over. It was so nice to sit outside and eat, drink, and be merry lol. Michael has a cousin named Sophia and she is only 9 months older than him. They are at the age where they were playing so well together. When we all went to the baseball game on Monday they would sit on the bleachers and just laugh at each other. Here are some pics of how cute they are.
