Lopez Family: Woody Buzz Weekend

This past weekend was pretty fun. Mia was sick so we just spent a lot of time hanging out which is always nice. Lately we rented the Toy Story movies and Michael loves them. It is really all he wants to watch. He always asks buzz please. It is so cute so on Friday I went to the grocery store and bought Michael woody and buzz dolls. He was so excited when I took them out he played with them all night. Then when I told him it was time for bed he wanted woody and buzz to sleep with him. He has slept with them every night since. I am loving this age he is so animated and is learning new words every day it is so exciting.

After seeing how excited he was about the dolls and how he loves the movies we thought this would be a perfect time to take him to his first movie and see Toy Story 3. He just sits on the couch at home and watches them I totally thought he would do great. So my mom came over and watched Mia while we took him to the movies. As we were waiting in line for popcorn he was checking things out and noticed the game area. Well it was pretty much over from there. So we left the game area with a bit of struggle and said we are going to watch woody and buzz so he came to the theatre and sat down and then preview after preview he was already getting restless. So I took him out until the movie started and he sat and watched a good portion of it but he was getting up sitting on the stairs back in his chair this that, it was a little hectic. Then he had a meltdown so Mike took him out of the movie. I was just sitting enjoying the movie and up walks Michael grabs my hand and says follow me mom. That was my cue we were out of there. Not before we stopped by the gaming area and hung for a minute and then went home.

On Sunday we had a toy story themed birthday party we went to at peter piper. I took Michael by my self since Mia was under the weather. We had a good time. It is hard at peter piper to get him to eat or sit still all he wants to do is play skee ball. He loves it. So needless to say we had a fun filled woody and buzz weekend.
