This is one of my favorite pictures because we don't have one with Michael. We were is such a rush with him we forgot our camera. By we I mean my husband LOL.
This is her this morning first thing. All smiles and ears. I could just eat her up.
Mia is 1 today. I really can't believe it. So many parents say time flies but with Mia it really did. When Michael turned 1 I was like yep it has felt like a year. A long year at that. But now that I have two kiddos time is going by much faster. I like it and don't like it all at the same time. What can I say about Mia. First I never wanted girls and I thank God every day he gave me one. There is just something about a girl. I am so in love with her even through all her dramatic moments. Which at a year old there has already been plenty. She is walking everywhere and clothes just get better and better with age. She is starting to get some hair. Mostly a little mo hawk that if I try hard enough and she sits still I can get it in a baby pony. This is only for special occasions I do not go through this every day. She says mama and dada and mumbles a lot but no other words yet. She has four teeth and loves food. She loves watermelon, grapes, yogurt, banana, turkey, cheese, pasta really anything I put in front of her she will eat. Which is so nice. The one thing that has been a challenge and which I never thought I would make it this long is the breast feeding. Not that breast feeding or having milk was a problem it was that she never took a bottle. She will take a sippy cup but if it has milk in it she throws it. I am now down to one feeding in the morning and one at night and I am hoping it will all be done soon. I have been giving her watered down milk in her sippy cup and it has been better. Any other suggestions about stopping breast feeding would be greatly appreciated. Mia is an absolute mamas girl. If she could she would be in my arms 24/7. I love it so much she is such a snuggler. She just started sleeping through the night. She sleeps from 9-5am then I feed her and she goes back to bed till about 7 or 7:30 or whenever her brother decides to wake her up.
Speaking of brothers it really is amazing to see them interact. A lot of the time he is taking toys from her but occasionally they will sit and play together which I love to watch. Michael has really done great and whenever he goes to stay at my moms house she says he always asks for MiMi. It is defintely a challenge raising two babies but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I can't wait to see what the future holds.
